Graphics Engine: Compatibility / Advance mode (but I do have en entirely different problem which has brough me here).īS5 version: 5.N32 (installed from clean recently, like, two week at most)ĬPU: 3 cpus used out of 4 (I did tried 4 out of 4, but since the game run smoothly at 60fps when the bug hasn't started yet, I don't think CPU usage is the main problem) However, like you, I don't have any crash, so maybe the "crash" issut got resolved with an update.
And there's a "recent" ("only" two month prior) post about an official mod here saying the game only worked on Lollipop More specifically, lot of people are having problem with emulators based on 7.1 with that game. Is there any prefered settings for Guardian Tales? For instance, I know people says DirectX is better overall, but I can only activate Hardware Decoding, thus reducing the load on my CPU, with OpenGl, but is it theorically worth it? (I sadly can't acitvate it on DirectX in BS4 : / ) Worst case scenario, I'll have to wait for a potential Lollypop on BS5 I do hope it'll come one day, as lot of games still don't run good at all on 7.1 based emulators : sĪs to answer your question about why I thouh it shouldn't work on BS5, well, it seems to be a common problem.
I'm switching from a game that runs ultra smooth at 60 fps to something that stutters heavily with every single attacks (for instance, with "punchers" character, the game freeze for half a frame every attack, and it freeze half to a full second with any special attack. However, having a low/mid end laptop, I'm forced to admit how better is BS5 performance wise. So, I just wanted to know if that fps drop problem was part of the usual "Guardian won't work on BS5" or if it's something else entirely.īack to the topic, as everyone suggested, I swapped over to BS4. The FPS dropping started the next day and it seemed like it kept getting worse over more hours of gameplay.I also tried dozen of different settings combination but to no avail. The fist day I played it, the game runned perfectly fine for a few hours straights. However, I never once had a crash (even with the fps drop problem, it doesn't crash). for a few instants, before it seems to starts overloading its cache or memory until it's not moving at all (in another words, the FPS keep getting lower until it reachs less than 1 fps and completly stop).I'm asking because when I read people complaining about Guardian Tales on BS5, they say the game keeps crashing. Reason I'm asking is that I tried it, and it works perfectly fine!. First of all, I want to make sure that Guardian Tales is still "officially" unplayable no matter what on BlueStacks5?
